The entire Ibadan South East and Ibadan North East local governments was thrown into an atmosphere of celebration, semblance of a Christmas party for Children and teenagers when the Santa Claus sponsored by the Honourable Member representing Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency in the House of Representatives Abuja stormed the constituency surprisingly.

Children trooped out Enmass to catch a glimpse of the mobile Santa Claus and to also collect gifts from the man from Rome, who danced and exchanged words with them. Some of the parents who accompanied their wards expressed surprise to this unprecedented arrangement where an elected representative would remember to share free gifts to the children.

 

In her words, Mrs. Nafisat Ambali: a street trader at Atipe said in Yoruba, “As you can see, our children are happy and whoever has done this to little children will remain happy all through his lifetime”. 

 

The young Honourable had before his emergence promised to channel all his energy and resources to bring smiles to the faces of all, irrespective of age, gender or political affiliations. As many children that came in contact with The Santa Claus were adequately catered for as there was more than enough gifts to share. 

 

This will be an annual event, and I assure all my constituents that 2016 will be a more colourful year by the grace of God, Omo Oloore said.
