Hon. Adedapo-Lam Adesina hails from Ibadan, Oyo State capital where he was born on the 25th October, 1978 into the family of Late Alhaji Lamidi Onaolapo & Alhaja Sarat Adesina.  Dapo Lam or Omo Oloore as fondly called by admirers and political associates is a passionate young Nigerian who believes in the enthronement of an egalitarian society.

He had his elementary education in Ibadan. For secondary education, he proceeded to the prestigious Government College Ibadan (GCI). In furtherance, Hon. Adedapo-Lam Adesina briefly studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at The Polytechnic, Ibadan (Eruwa Campus), before moving to the premier University of Ibadan where he graduated from the Agricultural and Environmental Engineering department in 2004. After his mandatory NYSC programme in Enugu State in 2005 Omo Oloore advanced his working career into the oil and gas industry, as he was a principal partner in Skipet Oil and Gas Nig. Ltd, an organization he ran with profitable and success stories until he assumed public office. 

His political sagacity started in 1998 when he was elected as the pioneer secretary, Allaince for Democracy (AD), Youth wing of Ibarapa East local government. As an undergraduate in University of Ibadan, Hon Adesina was elected as the departmental President of AEE students society in year 2004. In 2011, he contested for the same position he presently occupies under the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (A.C.N) but lost. He was later appointed as Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo State by Governor Abiola Ajimobi, a position he held and performed exceptionally well as adjudged by series of the landmark achievements he initiated during his tenure.

As Commissioner for Youths and Sports, he started a total re-orientation of youths in Oyo State. He also worked profoundly on youths development and empowerment. He organized two editions of Job and entrepreneurship skills acquisition fair where over 1000 young and unemployed Nigerians were trained in eight vocational skills, equipped with professional materials and start-up capital after completion. Over 400 graduates were also employed by blue-chip companies that participated in the job fair. In the area of sports, he re-engineered recreation and sports development in the state and improved sports infrastructural facilities. He completed the abandoned Lekan Salami stadium with laid artificial turf, refurbished plastic seats, athletic track and indoor sports hall. 

 Hon. Adedapo-Lam Adesina resigned as a Commissioner in December 2014. After his resignation, he publicly declared his assets after necessary documentation with the code of conduct bureau making him the first Commissioner in the history of Oyo State to take such step of integrity.

To further his journey of public service, DLA contested for the seat of Member of the Nigerian House of Representatives and won in the March 28th, 2015 general elections on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC). His mission at the green chamber is contained in his “New Era” blue print cardinal points.

So far, he has been able to deliver all his electoral promises to his constituents which cut across education, youths empowerment, infrastructure, trade and general public welfare with expected zeal and uncommon determination while promising to do more.

So far, in two (2) years in the Nigerian House of Representatives, he has diligently moved nine (9) motions which are beneficial not only to his constituents but to Nigerians at large. A few among the nine (9) motions moved so far are:

· Rehabilitation of Ibadan / Ile-Ife expressway;

· Need to curb excessive electricity charges levied on consumers by Distribution Companies (discos) through prepaid meters.

· Need to rehabilitate the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium in Ibadan

Hon Adedapo Lam Adesina has over 300 unsolicited awards of recognition in his kitty as a testament of his sterling performance as a public office holder. 

He is married to his lovely wife, Oluwatosin and they are blessed with a son.
