Member Representing Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency at the 8th National Assembly, Hon. Adedapo Lam-Adesina on Wednesday 24th February 2016 laid a petition before House of Representatives during plenary session.

 

The petition was received from one of his constituent, Elder A.O Ogundipe (a Federal Pensioner) retired in 1987 after 34years in Civil Service. The aged man had tried to have an error with his Pension payment that has spanned over 4 years corrected at different times but all efforts proved futile.

 

The petition on his short payment of Pension from 2011 till date was laid on his behalf by the Young Legislator on the floor of the house on Wednesday 24th February,2916 where Omo Oloore asked that the house steps in to assist the pensioner to redress the injustice.

 

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt.Hon. Yakubu Dogara thereafter referred the matter to the House Committee on Public Petitions for further action.
