Hon. Dapo Lam Adesina visits hospitalized teacher, assures NUT of fulfilment of all promises

The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives Abuja, Hon. Adedapo Lam-Adesina (Omo Oloore) on Thursday 12th May, 2016 visited a hospitalized teacher Mr Nasiru of St. Lukes College Molete who slumped in the Classroom while on duty.

Hon. Dapo Lam-Adesina in company of the Chairmen; All Nigeria Conference of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPPS) Ibadan South East Local Government, Association of Primary School Head Teachers of Nigeria (AOPSHON) Ibadan South East Local Government, Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) Ibadan South East Local Government and Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) Ibadan North East Local Government visited the Teacher who is currently receiving treatment at the Molete Medical Center, Molete, Ibadan.

The compassionate Federal Legislator commended the Staff of the hospital and expressed relief at seeing the Teacher respond to treatment as against the rumour going round that the clinic is not capable.He used the opportunity to also go round the Hospital ward, offsetting the medical bills of patients including a man with a broken leg.

In the same vein, the Young Lawmaker visited St. Lukes College Molete where the incidence happened and donated a Power Generating set to the Principals Office, Food stuff to the Teachers and Leather Football for the Pupils to encourage Grassroots Sport Development.

Education stakeholders from NUT,ANCOPPS and AOPSHON commended the Lawmaker for his compassion and the value he places on Education, describing him as a chip off the old block having been fathered by a foremost Educationist and a Former Principal; the ex-Governor of Oyo State, Late Alhaji Lam-Adesina.

Omo Oloore in his short remark restated his commitment to fulfilling all promises he made to the NUT and other education stakeholders “The future of our Country belongs to the teachers because in your hands lie the raw materials to be groomed, shaped and prepared to take up responsibilities. I am committed to making sure I do not relent in always being there for and with you”. Pledging not to derail on his social contract with the people and to use all legal and constitutional means to fulfill his electoral promises.
