The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives Abuja, Hon. Adedapo Lam-Adesina on Saturday,17th of December,2016 made good the promise he made to the Ode-Aje Community of Ibadan North East Local Government during his electioneering campaign when he commissioned the rehabilitated 300KVA transformer in the community which was damaged over six (6) years ago.

At the commissioning, the young lawmaker said he knows that “things are hard and that the country’s economy is in recession,However, what is going to be good is always going to be like this in the beginning. Those who served before this present administration were not sincere. Our national treasury was mismanaged. But God loves us”.

“That said, we cannot rest but continue to alleviate the suffering of our people. For 6 years, there was no electricity supply to this community and I promised to look into it if I win the election”.

Hon Dapo Lam Adesina also assured that he will never tow the path of other politicians who make empty promises and do nothing when they get into office. He emphasized his commitment to the welfare and Wellbeing of his constituents and the development of the Constituency that he represents.

He went further to say that there are two junctions close to the area where the commissioning took place which spans less than a kilometre while a transformer is being commissioned at one junction the other junction which is Aremo has a water project also commissioned by his humble self few months ago.

In his remark, the chairman of the landlords’ association, AlhajiGaniyuBusari, said “this has again demonstrated that you are a worthy son of the soil who is committed and always ready to alleviate the sufferings of the less privileged in the society irrespective of where they come from or which party they belong.

“The legacy of selfless service you inherited from your late father is evident on the occasion we are witnessing today…the whole community cherishes and appreciates the wonderful way you have liberated us from this age-long problem.”

Earlier, the chairman of the planning committee, AlhajiRajiAsimiyu said the gesture was remarkable in the history of the area, adding that electricity to the area has been restored. “The whole community of Ode-Aje, Aremo and Agugu have been in darkness for the past six (6) years due to unfulfilled promises of some past and present politicians.He praised OmoOloore for keeping to his words while assuring of the community’s support in his future political plans.

Chairman of Ibadan North East chapter of Community Development Council (CDC), AlhajiOdelade explained that he has not seen a politician like the former commissioner of Sports in Oyo state adding that OmoOloore has surpassed his predecessors in less than two years in office.He urged all politicians to take a cue from Honourable Dapo Lam Adesina.

Present at the Commissioning includes the Chairman of CDC in Ibadan North East Local Government, Chairman and members of the Ode AjeCommunity,Religiousleaders,Apc party members,wellwishers and Residents.
