Community Development Council (CDC) Honours Hon Dapo Lam Adesina With Community Award For His Service.

For fulfilling his electoral promises and to motivate him to do more, The House of Representatives member representing Ibadan North East/South East federal ‎constituency, Hon. Dapo Lam Adesina has been honoured by the Ibadan North East chapter of the Community Development Council (CDC).

At the event which took place few days ago at the secretariat of ‎Ibadan North East ‎LG in Iwo Road,HonDapo Lam Adesina said he was highly delighted with the award, assuring that he would not relent in his effort to bring smiles to his constituents’ faces.

According to the young lawmaker, who was a two time commissioner under the administration of Governor Abiola Adeyemi Ajimobi, “Atimes, when you are doing something, people may not appreciate it. It is not yet two years and you have started appreciating me. I will not rest until I raise the bar of representation.

He went further to say “Things may not be okay economically but the little we get will be used meaningfully, for your own benefit. I have achieved many firsts but you have not seen anything. There is an ongoing project which is the first of its kind and you will be all be glad when it is unveiled.”

Omo Oloore continued by saying “Soon, the council election will be conducted. I am urging you to vote for APC candidates so that this task of service to the people will be made easier for me while promising to embark on Koseleri projects.

Ear‎lier, the caretaker chairman of the council, Hon.LekanAfuye who was also the chairman of the occasion noted that he was happy the lawmaker has continued to stand for what his late father was known for. “I am not surprised because performance is inborn. I am proud to be associated with him…,” he added.

CDC chairman, Alhaji Dauda Odelade was full of praise for the lawmaker, who is the youngest National Assembly member from ‎the state, saying that “this is the first time we are awarding any politician since the organisation was set up over 30 years ago.You are committed to our welfare at CDC. We are delighted to express our gratitude to you for being a worthy ambassador. There is nothing you have done without carrying us along, without asking and we have deemed it fit to give you this award at the right time for the fulfilment of your electoral promises.”

He went further: “He has been assisting us financially every month to ease our task. Since then,old members have returned and we have been welcoming new members.None of his predecessors ever did this.

Present at the event includes The caretaker chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government,TheChairman,Exco and members of CDC,Baales and Mogajis,The Head of Administration in Ibadan North East Local Government,PartyLeaders,CommunityLeaders,Party Stalwarts, Executive officers of Landlord and Residents Associations and well wishers.

The Community Development Council of Ibadan North East Local Government is in charge of the twelve(12) wards and over 200 communities in the LGA
