The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives,Hon Adedapo Lam Adesina popularly referred to as Omo Oloore has once again delivered on his promises to the people, when on Saturday April 1st,2017 he commissioned another five (5) borehole projects in commemoration of the 2017 world water day.
The water projects which are located in Kumapayi Area,Iwo Road,Oke Offa/Babasale both in Ibadan North East Local Government and Olorunsogo in Felele,Islamic school in Isale Bode and Oke Oloro in Ibadan South East Local Government were commissioned with fanfare with hundreds of residents trooping out to catch a glimpse of the young lawmaker.
Speaking at the different locations of the commissioning, Omo Oloore said he is more resolute to deliver on all the promises he made to the people of his constituency while he also commended them for always standing by him.
Also speaking at the event, the spokesperson of Oke Offa/ Babasale Community, Comrade Jide Bamgbose said the area has lacked portable water for over fifteen (15) years, while the Chairman of Oke Oloro community said Hon Dapo Lam Adesina is the first politician to bring a project to the community since the advent of democracy in 1999.
The Chief Imam of Islamic Mosque,Isale Bode appreciated the young lawmaker for executing the project in the community, prayed for his success while he also showered encomiums on him for serving the people always.
The chairman of Kumapayi Community in Iwo road Alhaji Ige also eulogised Omo Oloore whom he referred to as a new breed of politician who keeps to his words.He said he didn’t expect anything less from Hon Adesina as his late father was also known to be a man of the people and a one who keeps to his words during his lifetime.
Lastly,It is worty of note that this set of water projects that has just being commissioned makes it twenty (20) water projects executed by Hon Dapo Lam Adesina under the Omo Oloore water Scheme in less than two years that he has been elected by the people.
You will also remember that Hon Dapo Lam Adesina also gave financial support worth millions of Naira to traders under the Omo Oloore traders support scheme last week.
