The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives Abuja, Hon. Adedapo Lam-Adesina a.k.a Omo Oloore on Thursday 19th August, 2016 again continued to dazzle his constituents with developmental projects/programmes as he commissioned a water project at KOLOKO area of Ibadan North East Local Government under The” Omo Oloore Water Scheme” in commemoration of 2016 World Humanitarian Day.

The Young Legislator who gave  free NECO forms to students of Secondary schools in his constituency on the same day also launched the OMO OLOORE food bank for women to reduce suffering during this economically challenging time.

Speaking on the need for access to portable water at the venue of the commissioning the 2-time Oyo State Commissioner stated “My constituency represents the heart and soul of Ibadanland, which has been neglected over the years by past Representatives, as such social and functional amenities are seriously lacking but we would effect positive change and turn away the reproach”.

In his words, “during our campaign, I saw long queues where our people wake up as early as 4am and return as late as 11pm in search of water; we are determined through our qualitative representation to turn the tide around not only by providing access to portable water but by also partnering with relevant agencies to alleviate the sufferings of our constituents”.

While responding on behalf of the people the chairman of the KOLOKO Landlords Association which covers over 20 communities,Alagba Amos Olalekan Olaniyan thanked Hon Dapo Lam Adesina for being a man of his words.The chairman while speaking further said he is now convinced that there are still sincere politicians in Nigeria.He assured of the support and prayers of the community to Omo Oloore.

Lastly, Omo Oloore used the occasion to express his profound gratitude for their loyalty, unflinching support and prayers, he equally pledged his unalloyed commitment to turnaround the fortunes of the constituency, using all legal and constitutional means to fulfil his electoral promises.

You will remember that Hon Adesina gave free WAEC forms to indigents students in 2015 and He also recently launched the Omo Oloore Business Support Scheme for traders and women in his constituency.

Present at the different events includes Party Leaders,Community Leaders,Party Stalwarts, Executive officers of Landlord and Residents Associations,Chairman of NUT in Ibadan North East,Teachers and students and well wishers.

World Humanitarian Day is held annually on the 19th of August.
