Jubilation As Omo Oloore Commissions Classrooms At I.M.G Primary School 5, Anirin, Eleta, Ibadan

In fulfillment of his electioneering campaign promises, Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina, Member, representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Abuja, has commissioned a newly renovated block of two classrooms with two staff offices at I.M.G. Primary School 5, Anirin, Eleta, Ibadan.

The commissioning, which took place at the premises of the school witnessed the presence of All Progressives Congress (APC) representatives at the State, Local government and Ward levels, as well as representatives from Nigeria the Union of Teachers (NUT), All Nigeria Conference of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS) and Association of Primary School Head-teachers of Nigeria (AOPSHON), Ibadan North East and Ibadan South East Chapters.

In his address, Omo Oloore stated that Education is the bedrock of development in any society, hence his determination to contribute his quota to the educational development of his Constituency, in line with his electioneering campaign promises in 2015.

Hon. Dapo Lam Adesina opined that as a true son of an Educationist and former Governor of the State, he will not relent in his efforts towards ensuring that Educational development of his Constituency is taken to a greater height through his Omo Oloore Educational Development Scheme.

Omo Oloore stated further that he has organized two editions of Omo Oloore Quiz and Debate Competitions for all Primary and Secondary Schools (Public and Private) in Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency, while the third edition is underway, and also recently distributed writing materials and school bags to over 5000 students with a view to enhancing the quality of education in the Constituency.

In order to maintain balance between academics and sports in his Constituency, Hon. Dapo Lam Adesina, through his Omo Oloore Sports Development Scheme has supported several schools with cash, trophies and footballs during their various Inter-House Sports Competitions.

While listing other developmental programmes earmarked for the Constituency, Omo Oloore reiterated his commitment towards ensuring the safety of lives and properties of the good people of Ibadan North East/South East federal Constituency, hence plans have been concluded for the installation of Automatic Fire Extinguishing Balls in major markets in the Constituency to address the issue of incessant fire outbreaks.

The young and vibrant lawmaker assured the people of the Constituency that in the next four months, they will witness more dividends of democracy, such as distribution of Sports Equipment to Football Clubs within the Constituency, Commissioning of a Mini Stadium at Oke’Badan High School and Empowerment Programme.

In their goodwill messages, Chairman, All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Chief Akin Oke, who was represented by the State Party Secretary, Alhaji Mojeed Olaoya, Dr. Kola Balogun, and APC Chairmen in Ibadan South East and Ibadan North East Local Governments, Engr. Kayode Arowolo and Hon. Rasaq Ekundayo respectively commended Omo Oloore for following the footpath of his late father, Alhaji Lam Adesina in the area of educational development.

They acknowledged the efforts of Hon. Dapo Lam Adesina in promoting the image of the party through his people oriented programme which is unparalleled in the history of the party at the Legislation level. The party leaders promised their supports for Omo Oloore in his political aspiration.

In his welcome address, ANCOPSS Chairman, Ibadan South East Local Government, Elder Gbadebo Akinlolu applauded Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina for keying into the education reform agenda of the State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi. He stated that Omo Oloore has contributed immensely towards the development of education in the Constituency.

While promising the support of the Principals and Teachers in the constituency, Elder Akinlolu urged Hon. Dapo Lam not to relent on his oars.
