The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency in the house of representatives Abuja, Hon. Adedapo Lam-Adesina has stressed the need for public office holders to earn the trust of their followers through their creative initiatives and monumental legacies.
 
He made this known at different fora where he received honourary awards from different organization in recognition of his consistent and positive contribution to the upliftment of his constituency and Oyo State at large. In his words, “Every award is a clarion call that I have to serve our people more, more efficiently, more effectively and more productively. They all remain sources of inspiration and motivation in dedicating more energy to improve the standard of living of our people”
 
We must continually work together as a united force to elevate the cause of the common man.I have an unshaken belief in my aspiration towards the struggle to leave my constituency far better in positive spheres than I met it, he stressed further. 
 
He equally thanked them all for distinctively selecting him out amidst the thousands of public officers in the land and gave a reassuring statement to fulfill all his 8point action plan contained in his manifesto for the house of reps election.
 
Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association (NATA) of Ibadan North East conferred on the Honourable member a Chieftancy title of “Atayase NATA”, AYTA: the organizers of The Tush Awards of bestowed on The Omo Oloore crooner, “The Role Model Award for 2015,While the Peace and Conflict studies students’ association (PACSSA) of his alma-mata: The University of Ibadan recognized his contribution to peace scholarship and development gave him a “Fellowship of Peace Award”.
 
The Community Development association of Ifelodun Akinjobi area made him The Grand Patron for his outstanding performance and contribution to the development of the community within his short stay in the green chamber while he received an award for the Outstanding Commissioner for Sports Ever in Oyo State from the Organization for building the Nation youth forum.
 
Mrs Adefemi Buknor, The PACSSA President of the University of Ibadan gave remarks before presenting the award, we searched for politicians who have made impact towards the society in terms of job creation and empowerment, education and sports development, and you emerge as one of such. You have linked your youthful creativity and administrative experience to chart a glorious path for the development of your people, she said.
