Omo Oloore Promises More Commitment To Sports Development

In demonstration of his love and interest in the development of education and sports in his constituency, a member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina, representing Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency, on February 20th and 21st, 2018 respectively, attended the Annual Inter-House Sport Competitions organized by St. David’s High School, Kudeti and Oyelakin Balogun Community Primary School, Sanyo both in Ibadan.

While donating a giant trophy, ball and cash gifts to winners in various categories of the competition at St. David’s High School, Kudeti, Ibadan annual Inter-House Sport Competition held at Ibadan Grammar School playing ground, Molete on the 20th February, 2018, Omo Oloore admonished the management and staff of secondary schools across the constituency to focus more attention on the development of sports in order to discover promising talents who will enhance the growth of sports in the state and Nigeria in general.

The Chairman of the School Governing Board (SGB) of St. David’s High School, who is also a former Chairman of ANCOPSS in Oyo State, Ven. B. K. Omikunle, School Principal, Mr. Bola Taofeek Olagoke and the entire teachers and students of the school appreciated Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina for the support he has been giving to the school over a period of time.

Similarly on Wednesday, 21st February, 2018, the Education Secretary, Ibadan South East Local Government, Mrs. Taiwo Adeniyi, School Headmistress, Mrs. Rachael Olayiwola and Chairman, PTA, Alhaji Ibrahim Ayetoto, and the representative of Oyelakin Balogun’s family, were among those who welcomed Omo Oloore to the Annual Inter-House Sports Competition of Oyelakin Balogun Community Primary School, Sanyo, Ibadan.

As part of his contributions towards the development of sports in the school, Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina donated a trophy, football and cash gifts to the school. He used the opportunity to urge the school management to prioritize the maintenance of existing structures in the school with a view to providing functional and qualitative education to the pupils instead of thinking about establishing a secondary section.

Omo Oloore advised the school management, teachers, parents, guardians and the entire community members to ignore politicians who have formed the habit of making unrealistic promises to attract people in order to seek their favour, particularly now that 2019 elections is fast approaching.
